Our 6 week run course to support you to improve your running.

Every Monday 10am in Hove Park

Starts 1st June

 

Slow Trails for Slow Runners
Our social once a month guided trail run.

Get out in nature. Run, jog and walk up hills 

This is an 8kmish run - you need to be able to run a slow 5km to join us. 

Location changes each month so you can discover new routes.

Our Run Ready course is designed to offer optionality for mums who want to:

 

  • Get supported progress to build to a 5km run.​

  • Improve their 5km time and have already started running.​

Our running sessions are all about making time for YOU whilst getting expert support - whether you are new to running or coming back after a break, or you've already clocked pavement time and want to improve in a supportive environment with like-minded mums.

What to expect:

  • Safe progressive running sessions

  • Tips for returning to running after baby - think pelvic floor and core confidence!

  • ​A space where no pace it too slow & every question is welcome.

  • A no pressure, comparison free zone.

How do I know if I am ready to run?

  • You 12 weeks+ postnatal 

  • You don't have any heaviness, incontinence or pelvic/lower back pain.

  • You've built some strength training basics.

  • You've tried the return to running test and can complete it.

The Return to Running Test includes the following 7 guides:

  • 30 minutes brisk walk

  • 1 minute jog on the spot

  • 10 second balance on each leg

  • 10 x running man on each leg

  • 10 x single leg hop on the spot

  • 10 x forward bounds

  • 10 x single leg squat (you do not need to go low in this one)
